This 4 grains hot cereal, a mix of quinoa, amaranth, buckwheat and chia seeds are an excellent alternative to traditional oatmeal. 1. 2/3 cup of milk or alternative (soy, rice, almond, or hemp).
2. Heat milk in a small pot over medium heat until almost at a boil.
3. Remove the milk from the heat. Pour ½ cup of dry mixture into the heated milk, stir and wait 1 minute before serving. You can add extra milk if you like your hot cereal creamier.
4. Add favorite toppings, such as brown sugar, maple syrup, or fresh fruits.
