This basmati and quinoa pilaf, delicately seasoned with tumeric and oregano, is an excellent side dish option. You may also choose to use it as a base to create a main dish by adding some fresh vegetables and toppings of your choice before cooking!
Organic white basmati rice, kaniwa (or red quinoa), organic onion, salt, organic oregano, organic garlic, and organic turmeric

Side dish – Serves 4
Add 2 ½ cups of water (or broth) and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to let simmer uncovered for 12 to 15 minutes, or until all the liquid is almost absorbed. Remove from heat, cover and let stand for 3 minutes before serving.
You can also use a rice cooker adding 2 cups of water.
