Black Quinoa Margarita Pizza

For one 12 inch pizza.

Ingredients

Sprouted quinoa pizza crust 

  • 1 cup of GoGo Quinoa Black Quinoa (add water and let it sprout for 5 hours) 
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 tbsp of Italian herbs mix or Herbes de Provence 
  • 1 tbsp of maple syrup
  • ½ tsp of pink Andean salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 tbsp of baking powder
  • 1 ½ tbsp of flaxseed meal
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil

Fillings

  • 2 tbsp of tomato paste
  • 4 tbsp of basil tomato sauce 
  • 1/2 – 1 cup of cheese or vegan cheese 
  • 1/2 cup of fresh basil 
  • Option: tomatoes, zucchinis, spinach

*In option you can create your own vegan cheese: 

Home made Vegan cheese

  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/3 of cup of cashews 
  • 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast 
  • 1 pinch of pink Andean salt 
  • 1 cup of water 
  • 2 tbsp of tapioca 

Instructions

Sprouted quinoa pizza crust

  1. In a mixer or blender, mix all the ingredients until the dough becomes smooth.
  2. In a 12” pie pan, lay parchment paper and lightly brush some oil. 
  3. Pour the dough into the pan.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes at 375 F.
  5. Flip the crust.
  6. Bake your pizza for another 10 to 15 minutes.

 

Fillings

Create your pizza 

  1. Mix the tomato paste and the tomato sauce together 
  2. Pour the tomato mixture over the pizza crust.
  3. Place your vegetables and your cheese.

Home made Vegan cheese

  1. In a mixer, mix all the ingredients until the dough becomes smooth.
  2. In a frying pan, cook the preparation on low heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until a stretchy paste appears. 
  3. Form balls and set aside in a bowl of salted water.
