Broccoli & lentil patties

 For 8 patties

Ingredients

  •  ½ cup of lentil flakes
  •  1 broccoli head
  •  1 cup of grated carrots
  •  1 tbls of chia seeds in 3 tbls of water (or one big egg)
  •  1 small onion
  •  2 crushed garlic cloves
  •  4 tbls of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil broccoli for 5 minutes
  2. In a small bowl, mix the water and the chia seeds, reserve
  3. In a pan, caramelize the onion and garlic with the olive oil, then add the carrots and the chopped broccoli
  4. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together and form balls
  5. In a frying pan with a bit of olive oil flatten and golden each side of the patties
