  1. In a strainer, rinse the kaniwa, and the tricolor quinoa (you could skip this step as our quinoa is pre-washed). Then place it in a saucepan with the 3 cups of water. Bring it to boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until completely absorbed.
  2. Meanwhile, cut the pepper, dried tomatoes, fresh chives and fresh basil. Reserve in a bowl.
  3. Add the lemon zest and the already sliced black olives.
  4. Remove quinoa/kaniwa from the heat and let cool.
  5. Mix it with all the ingredients in the bowl, add the basil olive oil, the pink mountain salt, and the fresh pepper.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
