“Her’s” burger

For 1 big burger or 2 regular

 

Packed with flavor, protein and nutrients, veggie burgers show up at backyard barbecues, tailgate parties and on the menus of high-class restaurants.  Grill them, fry them or bake them.

Ingredients

Toppings

  • 2 tbsp of beet hummus
  • A bunch of kale leaves 
  • 1-2 tomato slices
  • 1 red onion slice
  • 2 red radishes
  • 1 tbsp of mayonnaise
  • 1-2 burger buns  

Instructions

  1. Cook the quinoa following the instructions on the package.
  2. In a mixer, mix the beans, the beet then add the burger mix, the quinoa and the water if needed. Form your burgers and let them sit in the freezer while you prepare the rest of your ingredients.
  3. Drizzle some oil in a pan and cook your burgers
  4. Spread some beet humus on the burger bun base, lay the radishes, the burger, the tomato slice, the red onion, the kale and finally spread some mayonnaise over the top bun and cap the burger.
  5. Enjoy !
