“His” burger

For 1 big burger or 2 regular

Packed with flavor, protein and nutrients, veggie burgers show up at backyard barbecues, tailgate parties and on the menus of high-class restaurants.  Grill them, fry them or bake them.

Ingredients

  • 3 minute Guacamole: 1 avocado, ½ tsp of cumin, ¼ tsp of salt, garlic and onion powder and 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice.
  • 1-2 tomato slices
  • A couple of leaves of your favorite salad mix
  • A big slice of your favorite vegan cheese
  • A couple of stripes of roasted red bell pepper
  • 1 red onion slice
  • 1-2 tbsp of  mayo mixed with ¼ tsp of chipotle.
  • 1 -2 burger buns

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta following the instructions on the package.
  2. In a mixer, mix the pasta, the beans then add the burger mix, the spinach and the water if needed, mix well. Form your burgers and let them sit in the freezer while you prepare the rest of your ingredients.
  3. Prepare the guacamole: mash the avocado and add the spices and the lemon juice
  4. Drizzle some oil in a pan and cook your burgers. Leave it on one side, when it has a nice golden color, flip it and add your cheese slide on top.
  5. Spread some mayo on the burger bun base, lay the burger, the roasted red bell pepper, the salad, the tomato slice, the red onion slice, the guacamole and finally the top of the burger bun.
  6. Enjoy !
