Quinoa Falafel

Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 5-8 minutes
For 10 falafels

Ingredients

1 cup GoGo Quinoa Burger Mix
1/2 cup warm water
1/4 cup of grated red onion
1/4 cup of minced italian parsley
1/4 cup minced fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon olive oil
Sunflower oil or grapeseed oil for frying.

Instructions

1- Pour the burger mix in a bowl and add the onion, parsley and cilantro. Add the water and the tablespoon of olive oil and mix together with a spoon. If the mixture seems too moist, you can add a little more dry mix.
2- Put a little oil in your hands and form the falafel balls.
2- Heat the frying oil in a skillet and deep fry the falafel 5 to 8 minutes until crisp and golden.

TIP FOR A MEAL: You can prepare a salad with your favorite field greens, cucumber, canned tuna and garnish with 2 or 3 falafel balls.
