Quinoa Falafels & Salad

Cooking time: 5-8 minutes
For 10 falafels

Gluten Free & Vegan

Ingredients

1 cup GoGo Quinoa Burger Mix
1/2 cup warm water
1/4 cup of grated red onion
1/4 cup of minced italian parsley
1/4 cup minced fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon olive oil
Coconut oil for frying.

Instructions

  1. Pour the burger mix in a bowl and add the onion, parsley and cilantro. Add the water and the tablespoon of olive oil and mix together with a spoon. If the mixture seems too moist, you can add a little more dry mix.
  2. Put a little oil in your hands and form the falafel balls.
  3. Heat the coconut oil in a skillet and deep fry the falafel 5 to 8 minutes until crisp and golden.
  4. A perfect side dish for these falafels, is Chef Veganessa‘s Quinoa & Kale Salad made with white royal quinoa grains, kale, parsley, red peppers, garlic, sunflower seeds, lemon and olive oil.
